Change Field Label

The Report Field Options window, accessible from the Report Setup window, allows you to modify the label that describes the field. The label is the column header for most reports, and the change is only reflected on this report. The change will not affect data elsewhere in Maintenance Connection.

Modify a field label:

1. Select the field you want to modify from the Display field.

2. Click the Edit button.

   The Report Field Options window for the selected field opens.

   The currently defined field label is listed in the Field Label field. This value is retrieved from the Maintenance Connection Data Dictionary and cannot be modified.

3. Enter your preferred label in the Field Label (Custom) field.

4. Click the Apply button.

   You are returned to the Report Setup window.

5. Click the Apply button.

   Your changes are saved. The Report Preview window displays showing the new label. If you accessed the Report Setup window from the Report List, you are returned to the Report List.
